VISIT TO HAMILTON. AMENDED ARRANGEMENTS. BRIEF STAY IN TOWN. Iti consequence of the amendments to the Duke ;of Gloucester’s itinerary, necessitated by ilis Royal Highness’ foot injury, the Royal party's stay In Hamilton to-morrow has been cur- ■' tailed, and the Duke will remain here for only a little more than half an hour. 'Originally it was arranged that he should visit a dairy factory _at Frankton, and the Waikato' Hospital and Lake, but under the revised •Schedule these engagements are deleted, and the programme limited to the reception at Seddon Park. The Royal train will arrive at Hamilton at 1.15 p.tn-, tui'd His Royal Highness will be met there by the Mayor, and town clerk (Mr W. L. Waddel), and Major officer in charge of the Defence Department, Hamilton district. They will then leave immediately by car for Seddon Park, travelling hy way of Ward Street, and Seddon Road to the Soriiet’Set Street entrance. The cars will drive in, and drop their passengers by steps leading to a temporary platform erected in front of the grahd stand and then move on round the building ready to move off at, conclusion. The reception at Seddon Park is set down for 1.20 p.m. The Duke will inspect the guard of honour, after which the Mayor will read and present to His Royal Highness the address of welcome on behalf of the ‘townspeople. Following this ceremony he will present the Mayoress of Hamilton, Mrs Fow, and the Mayors and Mayoresses 'of towns adjacent to Hamilton, local bodies’ representatives and other citizensVisit to Ruakura.

At 1.50 p.m., when the reception will conclude, the party will enter their cars and proceed through the park, via London Street, slowly through Victoria Street across the traffic bridge, and along River Road and Te Aroha Street to the Ruakura Farm of Instruction, arriving there at 1.55 p.m. An inspection iof the farm will be made by Ills Royal Highness from his car, ahd at 2.10 p.m. he will leave for Cambridge, travelling over the Silvebdale Road, and through Hinton's Gully, across the Hamllton-Morrins-vJJle road, to Matangi, past the dried milk factory, and along the MatangiCambridge road th Cambridge. The Royal party will arrive at Cambridge at 2-35 p.m. and will be received by the Mayor, Mr C. H. Priestley, who will deliver an address of welcome from the Town Hall steps. Members of the borough council and local bodies’ representatives will then be presented to the'(Duke. At 2.50 p.m. ■the Duke will motor to the showgrounds* where a polo match, in which Ilis Royal Highness will participate If his foot injury will permit, will commence at 3 p.m. At the concluson of the match the party will leave at 5 p.m. by bar for Ohailpo, to join the ‘Royal train, which will leave at 5-30 p.m. for National Park.s From then on the Duke will resume his schedule as previously announced. Scouts’ Time-table Re-arranged. Owing to the alterations in the arrangements for the 1 Duke of Gloucester’s visit to Hamilton, the boy scouis who were to have garnered at Seddon Park at 4 o’clock this afternoon, will assemble at the Somerset Street entrance to the Park at 12.15 p m. to-morrow. Traffic Restrictions. During the afternoon of the reception at Seddon Park vehicular traffic will be restricted In the streets adjacent to the park and the railway station. From noon to 1.15 p.m. no vehicles other than those specially authorised will be permitled to travel in Hinemoa Street from Bryce Street to London Street, and from 12.45 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. in Seddon Hoad from Norton ROad to Tainui Street or Norton Road from Seddon Road to Hlnemoa Street. From 1.5 p.m. to 1.25 p.m. no vehicles other than those specially permitted will he allowed to travel on Ward Street from the railway gates to Seddon Road. From 1.30 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. or five minutes after the Royal party has passed, no vehicles will he permitted to travel in London Street, Victoria Street from London Street to Ruakura Farm via the traffic bridge, River Road and Te Aroha Street.

Controlling the Orowds. The police, apart- from their special tasks, will control the Hamilton railway stp-fion and approaches and lake charge of the parking of cars at Seddon Park and at. the Hamilton railway station. By courtesy of the officer in charge, in addition to the staff-ser-geant-majors, who will act as marshals, a number of volunteers will ho made available at Sodden Park. These will he used lo line the ropes round the enclosure and to keep the general public clear of the enclosed spaces.
