CLEARING SALE. AT OKOROIRE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report- having held a clearing sale of dairy stock and implements on account of Mr Newman (who has sold his farm) on. Friday, as under: There was a large attendance and a very satisfactory sale resulted. The following are the principal prices: Good young Jersey cows in milk, £4 17s Gd to £5 is 6d; Holstein cows, in milk, £3 to £3 JOs; others, £2 to £2 10s; threequarter cows, 30s to 355; cull cows, 20s; hulls, 30s to £2; calves, 7s. Pigs- Tamworth sows, running with boar, £2 15s to £3 15s; three months pedigree Tamworth sows, 2Jgns. to 2Jgns; three months pedigree Tamworth boar, lfgns; slips, 14s. Horses: Light harness horses, all work, £ll to £l6; older horses, £2 to £6 10s. Implements: Buick Gar, £65; Oliver plough, £5 ss; tyne harrows, threeleaf, £3 10s; hay sweep, £3 ss; drill, £l6 10s; pig houses, 30s to £3.
