JAPANESE DIET.
STORM SESSION LIKELY. INTERNAL PARTY DISSENSION. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. TOKYO, Deo. 25. The Emperor Hirohito to-day formally opened the Diet. It will adjourn to-morrow until January 20. The session is likely to bo stormy owing to internal dissensions among party members. The Emperor has appointed the Minister of War, General Hayashi, president of the new Board of Manchurian Affairs, which controls all the Japanese ndministratve activities in Manclrukuo, Kwantung and leased territory. Forty-nine imperial ordinances will become effective under Hie new system immediately. General Hayashi says the system is designed lo produce the closest coordination in Japanese organisation in the regions named.
