Having watched a man loitering , about tlio Te Aro baths and having J satisfied himself that the man was In ■tent upon thieving from tiie dressing boxes, Constable Webby, during his , hours off duty, arrested William 'George Ilart, on the unusual charge of being a rogue and vagabond in that, being a suspected person lie did frequent Te Aro baths with felonious intent. Tiie Magistrate, Mr Stilwell, considered the case clearly proved and ini* posed a sentence of a month.
