(Official wireless.)
RUGBY, Dec. 24
Their Majesties, accompanied by •the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, ■travelled on Saturday from London to Sandringham where the court is expected to remain until the middle of February. It Is anticipated that the King and Queen then will go to Eastbourne to slay at Compton Place, the residence of the Duke of Devonshire. Other members of the Royal Family are assembling at Sandringham to-day for the Christmas party. In emphasising the popularity of the Duke of Gloucester’s 'tour and the Duke of Kent’s disappointment at not visiting Australia, the Sketch suggests that the Duke and Duchess of Kent may attend Sydney’s 150th Anniversary in 1938.
