VICAR OF CAMBRIDGE
FIRST SERVICE IN PARISH. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Monday. The Rev. Charles W. Chandler, the newly-inducted vicar of St. Andrew s parish, Cambridge, conducted his first services in the parish church sestetday morning. Owing lo the Christmas' holidays, there was only a small attendance. The dhurch had been decorated. Mr Chandler took his text for his sermon from the fourth chapter of the Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians, the fourth verse: "There is one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.” Mr Chandler spoke of peace and unity. lie said: “You cannot have peace without unity, and much less could you have unity without peace. Mr Chandler thanked the members of the parish for their very cordial welcome. U was his intention to visit all in Die parish as soon as possible. lie trusted his ministry would help lo regain peace and unity in the parish.
