MURDER OF KIROV
HIGH OFFICIALS BLAMED. ZINOVIEFF AND KAMENEFF. PLACED UNDER ARREST. United Press Assn. —£lec. Tel. Copyright, LONDON, Dec. 20. The Warsaw correspondent of the Daily Express says an official announcement from Moscow by radio ■states that Zinovieff and Kameneff are blamed for (he murder of the Soviet leader Kirov. Stalin summoned both men to the Kremlin and when they left the Ogpu placed them under arrest.
The announcer adrj.ed: “Now we know who and where our enemy Is. Stalin says he will not rest until the last man of the Zinovieff and Kameneff opposition is destroyed.” The Daily Telegraph’s Moscow correspondent says the 103 persons who were shot recently for alleged “white terrorism " are already forgotten. The stage is cleared for the real disclosure of the Kirov murder plot. The official press is cautiously disclosing the fact that an organised Fascist terrorist group has been discovered within the former Bolshevik Party, the members of which now admire Nazi Germany.
