CAR LEAVES ROAD. TIIE DRIVER INJURED. PALMERSTON N., Friday. A car driven by Mr A. W. Minclo, of Palmerston North, left the road nevu Tiakilahuna last night and came to rest in a deep drain at llie roadside. Air Mindo was the sole occupant and was unable to move, owing to injuries. Eventually lie attracted Hie attention of passing cyclists. He received a fracture of the right arm, in addition to a number of cuts and an injury to Llie left hand. LITTLE GIRL DROVyNED. ‘ OPOTIKI, Friday. Disappearing while bathing with some companions, Ura Hudson, aged nine years, daughter of Mr M. Hudson, of Opoliki, was drowned in the Utara River this afternoon.
