FOR BRIDE-TO-BE. On Monday evening Miss Wilkins, lady superintendent of the 'Cambridge Nursing Division, arranged a delightful supper party at the 'Hotel Midland in honour of the Division’s secretary, Miss Olive Brown, who is shortly to be married. Miss Wilkins received her guests in a charming 'floral French silk frock. Mrs Wilkins had on a spotted frock, and the guests of the evening wore deep blue crepe. The supper table decorations were flame carnations and asparagus fern. A competition was won by Miss Mary McNamara, who also presented the bride-to-be with a beautiful bouquet of pastel-shaded sweetpeas. Miss Wilkins, on behalf of the Division, presented Miss Brown with a choice piece of crystal. The recipient suitably responded. The evening concluded with the singing of “For She’s a 'Jolly 'Good Fellow” and “Auld Lang Syne.” Others present were: Mrs 'B. Moore, and Misses 'Hulse, 'C. Richards, V. White, G. Moore and G.
