The Prime Minister, Mr Forbes, has announced that the administration of the Government Life Insurance, State Fire Insurance, Public Service Superannuation, Friendly and National Provident Fund Departmets, which was formerly undertaken by Sir Aplrana Ngata, had now been placed in the hands of the Hon. 11. Masters.

The Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, will spend the Christmas and New Year holidays in Tauranga.
