The barometer has fallen a little since last reading and reads 30.15. Indications are for fair weather to-day. cloudy at times with seasonable temperatures and westerly winds prevailing. Medn Temperature, 72.5 deg.
The Rainfall.
Ralnran far 24 hours ended 9 o’clock this morning, .OOins. Main fall for previous 24 hours ■O7 ins. Total for December to date, •641 n. Average rainfall for December, 3.381 n. t Rainfall for year to date 41.39 in.
Yearly average, 46.321 D.
SOUTH AUCKLAND ABBA. (By Govt. Meteorologist.
The speoial forecast by the Government. Meteorologist covering the WaikatoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Winds moderate and variable at first, but gradually tending northerly and freshening. Weather fair to cloudy, warm and sultry, with some Isolated local rains. Seas moderate.
General Inference: A depression is advancing slowly across the Tasman Sea. Barometers are still rather high to the north and east.
