FOOD POISONING.
CONDITION OF PATIENTS. INQUEST ON MRS NICHOLSON. AUCKLAND, Saturday. Slight improvements were reported last night in the condition of Hie live surviving patients who were admitted to hospital on Thursday. The patients are:—Mr N. Nicholson, aged 48; a son, Mr E. Nicholson, aged 24; a daughter, Mrs N. Dennison, aged 22; Mrs E. M. Tout; and Mrs MBurrow. All are residents of Pukekohe except Mrs Dennison, who lives at Glen Afton and was visiting her parents, and Mrs Tout, whose home is at Onewlrero. At .breakfast on Thursday Mrs Tout ate only toast and home-made ■marmalade, and became 11! shortly afterward. An inquest into 'the death of Mrs Nicholson' was opened yesterday. It was adjourned after evidence of ideatiliealion had been given.
