SPECIAL SITTING.
CIIANGEL'LOR TO REPLY
LONDON, Dec. 12.
In the Lords, Lord Hailsham, replying to the Marquess of Reading, said there would he a special sitting on Friday to give the Lord Chancellor a chance to reply to Lord Hewarl’s allegations. Without a ’special sitting the subject could not be taken until after the Christmas recess, and it was not, desirable that yesterday’s statement should remain so long undealt with on behalf of the Government.
