AUCKLAND SALE. " - PROCEEDS TOTAL £83,250. LOWER THAN LAST YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. The average prices realised for the wool sold at the Auckland sale on November 27 was £7 16s 2*d per bale, according to an official report by the Woolbrokers’ Association. In all, 17,659 bales were offered, of which 11,299 bales were sold for a total sum of £88,250 Is 9d. The average price per lb. was 5.628 d. .This compares with 4.67 d at the first sale of 1930, 5.065 d in 1931, 8.686 d in 1932, and 9.9 d in 1933 The total realisation, £88,250, is much lower than that of previous years, owing to the amount of wool unsold.

The realisation- from the first sale in 1932 was £133,118, and from the first sale i« 1933 it was £327,694.
