MIRACULOUS ESCAPE.

CAR LEAVES ROAD. FALLS ON ROOF OF “HOUSE. TWO BANK CLERKS INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. A miraculous escape ‘from serious injury was experienced by two occupants of a motor-car which left the road on Mount Victoria, Wellington, yesterday, and plunged over almost a sheer drop before coming to rest upside down on the roof of a house 50 feet below the road. The occupants were Mr W. F. Baillie and Mr J. Plank, hank clerks. Mr. Baillio was taken to hospital suffering from head injuries. Mr Plank received bruises and slight concussion.
