HOLIDAY FOR CHILDREN. APPLICATIONS CLOSE MONDAY. The League lias already received a number of contributions of rash ami goods, including a useful gift of 200 China soup plalcs from the Haynes’ Catering Company, of Auckland, but its requirements are no! by any means complete, and. a further appeal tor assistance in providing for Hie children is made. 11 is emphasised l*v the League that small contributions will be equally as welcome as more substantial gilts, as the smallest donation heps towards achieving the League’s aim.
