A MUSICAL TREAT.

OLD TECHNICALS’ CONCERT. A FINE PROGRAMME. A musical treat to the large audience in the school assembly hall, the first concert presented by old pupils Of the Hamilton Technical College, last evening provided full indication of the amount of talent that is available among collegiate societies. Successful from every aspect, the concert was enthusiastically received and repeated encore numbers were demanded from Hie artists. The staging ‘in the new assembly ball proved admirable for the presentation of the programme. The programme was as follows: — ■Songs, Misses Phyllis O'Neill, Alma 'Burton, Maud Blyth, Minnie Trcioar and Messrs. Graham Magill, Bruce Anderson and Gerard Peters, elocutionary items, Mrs. f. Olney and Messrs. George Goodwin and George Moore; dance, Misses Sybil Wright and Yoila LMoroney; pianoforte solo, Miss Katie Clements; violin solo, Mr Dudley Boyd. A one-act humorous sketch, “ Ici On Parle Francais," presented by members of the Old Girls’ Association, was a great success, reflecting credit upon members of the cast, Misses Beatrice Fisher, Lily Webster, Margaret Page, Janet Braggins, Edna Musgrove, Nona Pollard ami Isabel Hobbs. The accompanists were Misses Hose Findlay and Mavis Jones. In thanking the performers for their 'services, llie principal of the school, Mr, W. Fraser, remarked that the contort would he of considerable assistance in furnishing the stage of tiie new ■hall.
