CHARGE OF BIGAMY.
FARMER PLEADS NOT GUILTY. COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. 1 (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ' BLENHEIM, Tuesday. In the Police Court Charles Calloway, of Wairau Valley, a farmer, aged 69, was charged with bigamy. Evidence wa's given that accused married a widow named Elizabeth Hartley at Blenheim on September 9, 1922, and while she was still living lie went through the form of marriage with Harriett Stephens, also a widow, at Wellington In April last. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. Ball was allowed.
