HAMILTON CHAMPIONSHIPS. QUALIFYING ROUNDS. The qualifying rounds of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club’s senior an’d junior championships were played at St. Andrews links to-day. There was an entry of about 25 for eacli championship the best iG cards over 18 holes qualifying. Those who qualified for the senior championship were: Mrs F. Marnier, Mrs .1. Glachan, 87; Miss M. Wilkinson, Mrs G. W. Gower, 89; Mrs L. Day, Miss ,T. Masters 92, Miss E. Seavill 93, Mrs 'l'. A. Milroy 95, Mrs U. Bartlett 90, Mrs G. -Brown, .Miss M. McLean 97, Mrs G. Bryant, 98, Miss A. Provis, Mrs M. Rawlings, Miss J. Templcr 99, Miss A. Coventry 100. The junior championship was still in progress up lo Hie lime of going to press but those sure lo qualify include Mrs \V. Waring, Miss E. Newell, Mrs E. -Groeott, Mrs G. Bimlon, Miss V. <Cann, Mrs 1,. Pettit.
PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. The Auckland provincial ladies’ golf championship will commence at the Mlddlemore links on Tuesday. Miss W. Barns-Graham,” of Gisborne, will ho defending her title, and another visitor may tie Miss P. Helenn, of Wanganui, winner of the South Auckland ladies’ championship at Hamilton recently. Entries for the event have not yet closed. The New Zealand ladles’ championships will he played on the Titirangi Club’s course from September 20 to 28. Misses Kay and Gaisford will be hack In lime for the tatter event. The members of the Australian ladies’ team which is to play New Zealand for the Tasman Gup on September 26 will play in the Dominion championships,
