Rainfall for previous 24 hours ,081 n. Total for September to date, .77in. Average rainfall for September, 3.88 in. Rainfall for year to date 28.23 in. Yearly average, 46.32 in. SOUTH AUCKLAND AREA. (By Govt. Meteorologist.) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist covering the WalkatoThames Valley Is as follows: Forecast: Moderate to strong east to south-east winds still reaching gale force In places. Weather cloudy to overcast with further rain at most places. Temperatures mild. Seas rough. General Inference: Yesterday’s cyclone fs apparently moving eastward past the northern extremity of the Dominion, and has lost its Intensity. Barometers are again falling over eastern Australia.
