INFORMATION SOUGHT.

t (To the Editor.) Sir, —The present financial depression has caused me lo take some interest in economics; I have read a good deal on tills question by following the correspondence in your paper. I have been especially interested in the numerous letters that have appeared under the name of Mr Douglas Seymour. After dealing with the Douglas and other principles I note that Mr Seymour is now dealing with the land question. For information I would like to ask Mr Seymour If he believes in the following prlnciifiM—(a) That all individual-created values should belong to the individual who creates them? (2) that all communitycreated values should belong to the ( community that creates them? I cannot accept (perhaps do not understand) either Major Douglas’ or the single tax principles, but I do want to get down lo fundamentals, and as Mr Seymour has referred lo community values he will enable myself and others lo follow his reasoning better if he will kindly answer the above questions.'—l am, etc., PLOUGHMAN. Frankton Junction, August 31, 1934.
