Results were as follows: —A section: Otago, 2 goals, beat Walrarapa, 1; Marlborough, 2, beat Canterbury B, 1; Central Otago, 1, diew with Wellington, 1. B section: Akitio, 2 goals, beat Ruahine, 1; Eastern Southland B, 2, beat West Coast, 1; Canterbury A, a bye. C section: Eastern Southland A, 3 goals, beat South Canterbury, 0; Bush, 2, beat North Otago, i; Southland, 2, beat Ashburton, 1.
