CANADIANS WON’T FIGHT. NEUTRAL IN FOREIGN WARS. A CONVENTION RESOLUTION. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Receved July 20, 2.30 p.m.) WINNIPEG, July 19. The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation National Convention adopted a resolution declaring that Canada should be neutral in “ foreign wars." Mr E. E. Winch, a member of the British Columbia Legislature, declared he would never fight in capitalistic wars, but would fight for Russia.
The President (Dir J. S. Woodsworlh, M.P.), said "Some say we must help Britain on the League of Nations. Let us serve notice that we will stay out.”
