"Casein.” —Undoubtedly, prices are higher this year. No market information has been published but It is understood that double the price has ruled this year over that of last year. The price last year was about £35 a ton, and sales have been made at from COO to £7O this year. It is stated that the Japanese have offered £BO a ton for all surplus New Zealand casein.
