WOMEN’S AUXILIARY.
RELIEF WORKERS’ MOVEMENT. \ The usual weekly meeting was held in Toorak Hall on Tuesday at 11 a.m., Mrs Collins presiding. After the ordinary business was concluded the secretary read her report re arrangements to meet the Prune Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr Savage, to discuss relief conditions. It was decided that the deputation should consist of three ladies, Mesdames Collins, Warren and Snookcs being appointed. Mrs Snookes was a'ccorded a very hearty vote of thanks for her most helpful first-aid lecture, members all contributing useful suggestions. Next week’s roll call will bo a small article for the sale of work, a prize to be given for the “best article to cost least.’’ It was decided that all members attending a moetlng should contribute threepence each, this to cover the whole cost of morning tea. The hostesses were Mesdames Sparkes and Lord. A social half-hour followed and the meeting closed at noon.
