ART AT THE SHOW.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—May I draw the attention of those directly concerned to the fact that the regulations In the art section at the Winter Show have not been adhered to? In one class the principal prize has’ been awarded to a painting which is about twice the size of the original, whereas it Is stipulated that It should be three times the size. It Is not my intention to judge the merits of the different art entries, but it seems to me that the bulk are very amateurish, and belong to what some call the Impressionist school.—l am. eLC " OUTSIDER.
