MEETING AT CAMBRIDGE. F. J. SMITH’S EROTEST. MATTER HELD OVER. CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. At a meeting of the Now Zealand Trotting Board a letter rrom the Cambridge Trotting Club was tabled. The letter stated that a meeting of the judicial committee considered a protest by F. J Smith, the driver of Kuinl. against Indolent for galloping. As Smith had not lodged the usual protest fee or £5, it was decided to bold the matter over until this had been received.
