POLICE RAID 6. SEARCH FOR DOCUMENTS. United Press Assn. —Elec, Tel. Copyright. (Received Deo. 1, 9.50 a.m.) DUBLIN. Nov. 30. The police raided the residences of General O’Duffy and Air Blythe, seeking documents. They also searched the former headquarters of the Farmers’ League, which recently merged Into the United Ireland Party. In the Dail Mr Patrick Rutledge, a member of the Government, replying to Mr W. T. Cosgrave '(Leader of the Opposition) said the raids were carried out because the police had reason to believe that treasonable documents, arms and ammunition might be found. General O’Duffy, in an interview, said: “ The police found nothing, because I had nothing to hide.” Mr Cronin’s house was also searched.
