Mrs B. Freeman, of Sydney, wife of the managing director of Metro-C.oldwyn-Mayer Films in Australia, was in Hamilton yesterday. * * # # Miss Nell Pittar, of Whangarei, arrived in Hamilton to-day. * * * * Mrs C. Wallace has left Hamilton to reside at Kaikohe. * # * * Miss Thelma Hoe, of Hamilton, solecharge teacher at the Newstead School, will leave to-day for Auckland. To-day week she will sail for England on transfer for a year to the Church, of England’s Girls’ School at Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Mrs D. Simcock and Miss Gwen Simcock are motoring through to Helensville to-day to be present at the 97th birthday of Mr Joseph Simcock, when a family reunion will take place.
