RENT REMISSION.

TROTTING CLUB REQUEST. A request for a remission of rent was received from the Waikato Trotting Club at a meeting of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association executive to-day. Mr. H. Windsor presided. In a letter to the association it was pointed out by the club that their last meeting had resulted In a loss of about £450 excluding the rent of £2OO for which they were liable to the association. Mr. T. G. Reynolds, secretary of the Trotting Club, attended the meeting at the request of the executive and explained the state of ills club's finances. The meeting was of opinion that the association had treated the club very leniently in regard to past remissions and it was finally decided to ask the club to pay £IOO, the balance to be reviewed at the close of the club’s financial year.
