In the final of the tennis of the New South Wales singles championship Crawford defeated Hopman, 6—4, B—6, 7—5. Crawford gave -a dazzling display of perfect forehand drives, but Hopman -contested every point. In the final of the women’s singles championship Miss J. Hartigan defeated Miss L. Blckerton, 6—4, 6—2.
