STOP PRESS NEWS
MAORI FOUND DEAD. DISCOVERY AT NGARUA WAHIA. A Maori named Tau Mcana Mahu, aged 2G years, of Tangirau, near Ngaruawahia, was found dead on the railway lino about 200 yards south of the Ngaruawahia railway station, in the early hours of this morning. There were severe injuries on the body and it seemed clear that the deceased was struck by a train. Deceased was a single man. An inquest for purposes of identification was opened at Ngaruawahia this morning and adjourned.
