TE AROHA CLUB. THE SEASON REVIEWED. LOSS ON YEAR. The Income and expenditure account or the Te Aroha Trotting Club, to be presented at the annual mooting, on Tuesday, September 26. shows a loss on the year’s working of £146 10s Od. A reserve, amounting to £3O 18s was created for possible bad debts and an amount or £34 18s in bad debts was written oIT. The totallsator rebate, amounting to £135 10s, was banded to tlie Te Aroha Jockey Chili to- be spent in course Improvements. Thefinancial position or the Club is satisfactory, the surplus of assets over liabilities amounting to £BB2 12s Bd. The annual race meeting was held on April 8 and resulted in a profit of £l6O 3s Bd. The amount passed through the totallsator was £10,840, but the nominations and acceptances received, however, were considerably below those for the previous meeting. The retiring officers, the president, Mr R L. Somers; vice-presidents, Messrs P. Bailie, R. Burke, and G. P. Goodrellow; treasurer, Mr O. H. Deverell, amt rour members or the committee, Messrs- E. J. Alslable, H. Jackson, J. Kenny, and C. V. Carley, have again been nominated, and, as no further nominations have been received, these gentlemen will be declared elected at the annual meeting.
