The Soviet has protested to the Manchukuo Government regarding the bandit raids on the Chiifese Eastern Railway, demanding urgent measures for the release of the prisoners captured last Sunday when a ’train was wrecked and looted near Pogranitchnaya. The passengers and crew were kidnapped and 60 passengers, including women and children, were carried off to the hills.
