WORKERS’ DEPENDENTS.
CHARGE ON EMPLOYERS. FRENCH ACT IN FORCE. (Received Sept. 16, 2 p.m.) PARIS, Sept. 15. From October workers’ dependents and children In the key Industries undec the Act passed in 1932, will become a charge on the employers’ payroll, on the basis of 7s 6d monthly for the first child, varying thereafter till a' total between 37s 6d and 50s is reached for a fatrjily of four. The employers estimate the proposal Involves them in an addition of three per cent to their wages bill.
