ST. PAUL’S LADIES’ GUILD.

THE ANNUAL MEETING. The church parlour of St. Paul’s was beautifully decorated with spring flowers for the annual meeting of the above society, which was held last Thursday afternoon. The president, Mrs D. Bradley, extended a very cordial welcome to a large gathering of members and lady visitors. The annual report was presented by the secretary, Mrs 0. Fulton, and the treasurer’s report by Mrs W. Smith, both reports showing increased interest in the guild, and a credit balance being carried forward. Reports were also read by Mrs J. Treioar, visitor for the guild, and Mrs Gadd, sewing build. All reports were received and the officers thanked. The following were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs D. Bradley (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs H. Peat, Mrs J. M. Jones, Mrs E. J. Davey, Mrs Tidd, Mrs W. B. Williams, Mrs Walker; secretary, Mrs’o. Fulton (re-eleoted); treasurer, Mrs W. Smith (re-elected) ; press reporter, Mrs E. P. Baty; visitors Mrs J. Treioar, Mrs E. P. Baty; pianists, Mrs J. Pomeroy, Mrs Gadd; programme committee, Mrs A. Gordon, Mrs W. B. Seccombe, Mrs 11. Peat; recruiting committee, Mrs R. B. Seccombe, Mrs C. Burgess; Young Mothers’ League, Mrs H. Peat, Mrs Gowcnlock, Mrs n. B. Seccombc, Mrs 0 Fulton, Mrs J. Pomeroy; social committee. Mrs E. J. Davey, Mrs C. Burgess, Mrs McLachlan. The meeting concluded with afternoon tea.
