I want’ to remind all members or the Junior League that the first week In October Is Animal Welfare week, and I should like suggestions from all of you about J what the Juniors’ part should be. I hope 1 to be able to arrange that you meet each other that week. So a letter from each or you would be very welcome. Get your pets. In tip-top trim for one never knows what we may be able to do. Perhaps hundreds or children who are not members may think it worth while Joining up that week. There will be lots or chances. The membership fee is one shilling a year, and the badge costs sixpence. And now when I’m warmly tucked In bed ’Neath the eiderdown and my prayers all said, I seem to see It sitting there By the hoarding site on Civic Square.
