PROMINENT ADVOCATE. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Sept. 15, 1.45 p.m.) VANCOUVER, Sept. 14Leaving a note to the coroner declaring that lie was going blind, Mr F. C. Mayers, K.C., ‘the most prominent lawyer in British Columbia, ended his life by taking an overdose of veronal.
Mr Mayers recently returned from London where ’he had been engaged in advocacy before the Privy Council.
