AFTER HOUR SALE
LIQUOR PROSECUTION. TE AROHA, Thursday. In the Police Court to-day, John Henry Evans, licensee of the Grand Hotel, Te« Aroha, was cliarged with selling liquor after hours, keeping his premises open for sale, and serving a person who was apparently under the age of 21 years. The Magistrate, Mr. F. W. Platts, remarked that it was evident that the person that was served was not apparently under the age of 21. Taking into consideration defendant’s previous record and his frank evidence, he would be fined £4 and costs on the charge of selling liquor after hours. The other two charges were dismissed. Walter Henry Needham was lined £ f lor being on the premises.
