MASONIC BALL
IN PUKEMIRO HALL. The Miners’ Hall at Pukemiro presented a gay scene when there was a large attendance at the third annual Masonic ball. The hall and supperroom had been beautifully decorated. The sumptuous supper arrangements were efficiently carried out by a committee of ladies. Messrs W. Purves and D. Bland officiated as M’s.C. The music was supplied by Allan’s orchestra. Before dancing commenced, a grand march was led by the Wor. Master, J. Barr, and Mrs Barr, followed by Past Masters and members in their order of seniority, after which the ball was officially declared open. Among those present were:—Mesdames Jas. Barr, G. Holmes, E.
