ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
THE GAME IN HAMILTON. AUCKLAND AND SOUTH AUCKLAND. TO-MORROW’S BIG MATCH. The only representative Association game of the season in Hamilton will be staged at Seddon Park tomorrow, when South Auckland and Auckland will meet In the first match for the Flyger Rose Bowl. After the holder is decided between these two teams the trophy will become a challenge trophy, to be played on the ground of the holders. There will be a great tussle between the two teams In to-morrow’s game for the honour of having the first inscription on the Bowl, and a large attendance will no doubt follow the fortunes of the respective contenders. A large contingent from Auckland is coming to swell the j crowd. The following Is the South Auckland team and officials:— , Goal: Allsopp (Glen Afton). Right back: Hall (Starr Town). Left-back: McCallum (Rotowaro), captain. Right half: Bassick (Starr Town). Centre half: Barlow (Rotowaro). Left half: Berry (Rotowaro). Outside right: Bate (Thistle). Inside right: Boyd (Rotowaro). Centre forward: Crabb (Wanderers). Inside left: Adams (Glen Afton). Outside left: Crooks (Rotowaro). Reserves: Clark (Wanderers), McLean .(Wanderers), Tait (Thistle). Team manager, Mr F. T. Mills; referee, Mr E.. R. Marsh; linesman, Mr J. Baillie. The Auckland team will play in blue and will be under the charge of I Mr C. G. Ballantyne. The Curtain Raiser. At 1.45 p.m. a curtain raiser will be played between the Hamilton primary schools representatives and Auckland primary schools. The following players have been chosen to represent Hamilton.
