SUCCESSFUL YEAR. \
WAIKATO WINTER BHOW. GRATIFYING BALANCE SHEET. A meeting of the Waikato Winter Show executive was held this morning, the president, Mr J. Treloar, presiding over a good attendance. A tentative balance sheet covering the year’s operations was submitted by the secretary, Mr \V. H. Paul, who mentioned that after allowing £625 for depreciation a credit balance of £§G 4s 7d was shown. Last year there was an excess of income over expenditure of £lB6 19s Bd. ' t
"I think you will agree that,lt Is an extraordinarily good result,” said Mr Treloar, in referring to the balance sheet for the past year.
The proposed dates for the 1934 show, Tuesday, May 29, to Monday, June 4, were confirmed.
