BUTTER MARKET FIRM. CHEESE VALUES STEADY. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated July 28, the previous week’s prices being given in parentheses:—Butter.—New Zealand: : Salted, 82s to 84s (78s to 795) : 82s to 84s equals approximately 9£d, f.o.b.;' unsalted, 80s to 86s (80s to 83s); first whey, 76s (745); second, 74s (725). Deliveries: New Zealand, 2400 tons (last year, 1290 tons); in 'Store, 9800 tons (last year, 5026 tons). Australian: Salted, 81s to 83s (77s to 795); unsalted, 80s to 84s (80s to 82s). Deliveries: Australian, 650 tons (last year, 1362 tons); in store, 3600 tons (last year, 2150 tons). Argentine: Unsalted, 1 7-s to 80s (76s to 78s). Danish, 80s, f.0.b.; 98s to 100 s Spot (755, 95s to 975). Dutch: Unsalted, 945-to 98s (92s to 96-s).- Estonian, 735 to 74s (72s to 735) ; Latvian, 735, 74s to 76s (72s to 735); Siberian, 72s to 74s (70s) { Ukranlan, 70s (68s); Lithuanian; 735; 74s to 76s (70s to 735). The market is firm. Retail prices are unchanged. The Empire Marketing Board’s estimated stocks of all butters; 1,307,293 boxes (last yeaf, 876,218 boxes). Cheese.—New Zealand: White; 49s to. ,49s 6dj 53d; f.o.b. (48s 6d to 495); coloured, 51s to 525; s£d, f.o.b. (51s to D2s)i Deliveries: New Zealand, 21,500 crates (last year, 20,500 crates); in store, 152,774 crates (last year, 81,500 crates). Australian: White, 48s to 495. The market 16 steady. Retail prices are unchanged,. Canadian: White, 64s to 78s (64s to 695); new season, White; 51s to 56s (51s to 535); coloured, 54s (52s to 535); 0.i.f., 53s 6d (555). English finest farmers’, 586 to 65s (586 to 655). The market is quiet.

The market is steady. Offers of 9£d to lOd per lb for butter for August shipment have been current locally during the week. Most business has been done at the former price, but a few small parcels have changed hands at lOd. No forward delivery business is being done.
