The Dominion Government has obtained a renewal of the 50,000,000 dollars (£10,000,000) loan from the chartered banks of Canada, at 3 7-8 per cent. The old loan will fall due on August 1. <
This is said to be the first time In recent years that the Dominion has been able to borrow at less than 4 pp» cent.
