SEARCH ABANDONED. WRECKAGE SIGHTED. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. SYDNEY, July 2. The owners of the Christina Fraser have decided to abandon the search. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s search to-day proved fruitless. The masters of two steamers have just reported sighting wreckage off name Head, Victoria. This will be investigated. An aged couple living near Eden say they saw rockets and heard a ship’s siren on the night of June 26. They did not know the collier was missing till they visited Eden this week-end.
