PUTARURU STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report that at their Putaruru stool? sale there was a large yarding of all classes ,of stock, which realised full market rates. Sheep.—Extra heavy fat ewes made 15s Gd, fat lambs, 13s Gd; forward 2-tooth wethers, 14s to 1-is Id; ewes in lamb, full mouth, 11s. Pigs.—Sows in pig, £2 12s Gd to £3 ss; store pigs, IGs; weaners, 12s to 13s Gd. Cattle. —Fat cows made from £2 to £2 17s; forward cows, 30s to 355; boners, IGs to 2Gs. There was a very large yarding of dairy cows and heifers. Forward heifers in calf made £5 to £5 15s; more backward ditto made £4 to £4 10s; rough and inferior heifers, £2 10s to £3.
