MATCHES IN HAMILTON. WANDERERS DEFEAT THISTLE. VETERANS’ GAME DRAWN. The senior championship competition was advanced a further stage at Seddon Park on Saturday, when Hamilton Wanderers and Huntly Thistle tried conclusions, the former winning by four goals to two after a bright game. Wanderer shad the better of things generally, but Thistle initiated some good movements, and often had the home side working hard. Stewart scored three goals for Wanderers arid Smith one.
