PARISHIONERS’ SOCIAL
FUNCTION AT ST. QEORQE’S. With the object of Inaugurating a short Queen Carnival, a parishioners’ social lias been arranged to be held in SI. George’s Hall on Monday night. An excellent programme will lie presented, including violin solos by Miss isobel Lnnglands, community singing, ami a one-act play, which will ho followed by supper and dancing.
Four candidates have been nominated as queens—Misses Audrey Andrews (Dramatic Club), Joyce Coombes (Sports), Htmla Downes (Railway) and Marjory Radford (Forest Lake).
