A NEW POLIOY. ITS REQUISITE STRENGTH. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. WASHINGTON, June 29. A new- policy for the United States navy, asserting it should be maintained “In sufficient strength to support national policies and commerce and to guard the continental and overseas possessions of the United States," was made public to-day at the navy department. The naval policy calls for two naval bases on the Atlantic coast and two on the Paciflo coast. The old policy designated only San Francisco as the centre of naval activities on the Pacific coast.
