J)EAR GIRLS AND BOYS,— The frosts have broken at last and It has been quite a ohange to got out of bed and find It warm. And certainly It was much nloer, although tho .lawns and fences looked very pretty when they were white.

This week we have begun the story of Peter Pan and Peter hopes you like It. He would love to be able to put In the Illustrations and show you what Jolly Little people they are. When we finish publishing the story Peter fs going to have a competition on It and give a Peter Pan book as a prize... He thinks you would love to have the book even If you have read the story. Basketball and football are well In season now, and Peter thinks Yoi i are very lucky to have so much time and so many opportunities to play In matches. He loves going to the parks to watoh them, and It Is all very exoltlng. - Has anyone begun making scrap books yet? (Peter hopes so. He Is beginning the Christmas Cheer Campaign In August so you have lots of time to collect your scraps. Aren’t the gardens bare Just now. Peter Is having suoh hard work to keep the Garden Corner going, because there Is very little news from the circle. However ft will soon be Spring and won’t there be lots of Interesting things then. Peter hopes 'you' will all help Elizabeth ae much as possible with her good work. This oomlng week she Is going to tell you about her trip to Auokland, when she visited the S.P.C.A. homes there.
